The Cowboys win against the Vikings

The Dallas Cowboys finally win a game and my prediction was dead wrong, thankfully I was wrong. The game was as nail biting and anxiety inducing as an 'upset game'  could be. An upset game is what all the sports analysts who can't believe that the Cowboys could possibly pull out a win against Dalvin Cook and the Vikings. Well, there will be a lot more upsets for the season and the NFC East will soon see a new division leader. So let's talk about the game.

Andy 'The Red Rifle' Dalton played his best game in a while. He came off the bench this week and he reminded everyone why he went to three pro-bowls. Throwing 203 yards and only one interception with one of or, his highest, 68% completion rate. For Cowboys fans, it was a moment of grounding. After Dak's injury everyone was floating around in this type of limbo but on Sunday night we finally saw a well rounded football team. Ezekiel Elliot and Tony Pollard were almost the stars this game and they made the game so much more interesting. Zeke finally ran for 100 yards, 103 to be exact. He ploughed through the Vikings defense like they weren't even there. Tony Pollard balances out Zeke's work perfectly by giving those bursts of lightning speed and making a touch down. The Vikings defense were absolutely confused and rendered incapable against the Cowboys run game. Amari Cooper with a whopping 81 receiving yards showed to be instrumental in the ability to move the game, to make downs and to consistently put the Cowboys in good field position. Let's get to the star of the game who made the play of the game, CeeDee Lamb. CeeDee Lamb had the best touchdown of the entire game with his acrobatic-like 180 degree catch. There is no one that can say they weren't impressed with CeeDee Lamb that game and aren't looking forward to watching him play for the rest of the season. The big switch on the O-line, moving Zach Martin to right tackle smoothed out the entire offense and allowed Andy Dalton to do what he does best without having to feel the pressure from the Vikings defense.

The Cowboys defense looked the best and the most stable for the season yet. Let's talk about the D line and the ability of Demarcus Lawrence to tear through an O line and sack that quarterback.  Leighton Vander Esch held that defense up and had his eyes locked onto the running back spot, stopping the run from Dalvin Cook. The cornerbacks and safeties are starting to get increasingly better at covering Wide Receivers, the only fall back is the defense is terrible at covering big Tight Ends. Kyle Rudolph of the Vikings consistently ran through the arms of the Cowboys defense and that's the formula that Kirk Cousins opted to use to gain field position.

So the Cowboys face Washington at the star on Thanksgiving for a revenge game for Andy Dalton's concussion the last time the both teams played each other. This is going to be a grudge match and something is whispering in my head that the defense are going to be amped up. The game against the Vikings proves that the Cowboys have weapons and they know how to play. Washington has some serious problems coming to them. My predictions for this game. With Washington becoming less consistent and less reliable and Cowboys are becoming a division wining team. I choose Cowboys for the win.
